BV’s multi-region branding (MRB) system was used across the five Ashes tests in Australia. The system was used to provide four different sets of branding behind the bowler and batter across all matches.

BV’s MRB system adds the virtual content to the final TX signal allowing any number of separately branded virtual feeds to be created.

The system was used on the four main game cameras, with a tight and wide camera at each end of the pitch. The system works on all replays and the replay operator can even slow down the replay. It detects all cuts, fades, RTD’s and graphics and inserts the virtual content at the correct time on the virtual cameras.

The MRB solution works in any combination of production either onsite or via a remote production. Across the Ashes, there was a combination of onsite two UHD and five HD feeds, and then three HD feeds created offsite via a unilateral production.

The use of the system allowed Cricket Australia to sell the same signage position across multiple territories including a separately branded feed for any highlights in the UK.

[142
post-110656","portfolio","type-portfolio","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","portfolio_category-multi-region-branding
