BV’s virtual billboards solution has been used for Melbourne Cup coverage since 2020.
The system provides a real viable alternative to physical billboards at a fraction of the cost and with the ability to be changed per race
Virtual content can be placed anywhere around the race track and is available on the finish line camera. The billboards were combined with BV’s multi-region branding system to put different sponsor logos across different feeds.
The billboards were used across all races at all four meetings during the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
